The veteran plates would be alright if every jackass who ever put on a uniform wasn't allowed to get them. I didn't consider myself a vet until 20 years into my career when I finally got to put some rounds down range. Now every DB who decides they are a vet can get those stupid plates. Fuck those plates and any retard who has the audacity to falsely call themselves a vet. I will display my veteran status every Rememberance Day and thats enough for me.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I know a guy who ha veteran plates and has never stepped foot outside of Canada. He thinks because he served in the mo, that makes him a "veteran".
